Guadalupe Frisco's Post; ALTHOUGH FAIR WASN'T PART OF HER PLAN, YOU WOULD EXPECT BETTER THAN THIS FROM THE COMPANY
What the company did is legal but not ethical.
There was a high road to be taken, and only Bob took it.
An anonymous blog isn't the high road either, but with Dr. Rick and his unprovoked and unpredictable ugly rages, who do we go to? How is all this ethically different from financial mismanagement or filing false report? Financial mismanagement happened when Rose got free time off, and her report of harassment was like reporting a false result. Are some unethical acts protected? Fair wasn't part of her plan, but you would expect more from a company that could be so compassionate to cancer and hurricane victims.
Why won't the company make an end to this, I mean a real end, not just declare it closed and off limits for discussion?
Just how many managers and Vps have said confidentially that this was handled all wrong? They can't say it openly any more than these bloggers can.
I heard that this has divided the employees. That's what a bad decision can do. But I have not seen the division. Where is the popular support for Rose?
There was nothing unethical in their relationship, but her and the company actions were unethical, especially if she had a domestic matter and the controlling husband had anything to do with it.
Rose caused all this, not Bob, so look to her first as the cause of the trouble.
I have to wonder if the man is being punished for something else. If so, I'll lay odds he wasn't told about it. Maybe this was used to put him right where the company wanted him because he turned down that lab job a few years ago.
Did we actually pay a lawyer to give a legal but unethical, unfair, and unjust decision about Bob just to keep Rose from causing the company some embarrassment? What is Rose holding over the company?
